Fuel pressure reg? But I can't see why it would be so rich at idle and give no fuel under load if its failed? No fuel smell from the vaccum pipe coming off it O2 sensor less than 12 months old and reporting lean/rich voltages. Timing is all up the s**t, ECU talk saying anything between 10-20BTDC at idle and turning the dizzy seems to make little difference to the read out, just changes the idle speed at the moment, maybe limp mode? but no engine light on. No error codes reported (55), unplugged battery for an hour and plugged back in for ecu reset, no change. TPS voltages OK, Crank Angle singles (3 of) all good to the ECU. Check AFM voltages, all OK, around 1.7V on low idle and upto 4V on WOT fast rpm when it gets there.
Checked Cap, all good looked fine, no cracks. Checked plugs, leads, plugs had carbon build up all the same, otherwise OK. Gradually has got worse over the last week or so, its now basically drivable. It is so rich at idle it is pissing fuel out of the exhaust, and so lean under load its makes no power at all, idle is very rough and very low.
Problem: TB45 running rich at idle, lean under any sort of load, pinging and retarding timing. Hopefully you guys have a great idea I've missed.
